By accessing or using Splainly (the "Service"), operated at https://splainly.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Splainly is a software-as-a-service platform that provides AI-powered video generation and processing tools. We offer free and paid subscription plans with varying feature limits, as described on our Pricing page.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method at the applicable rate. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Top-up credit purchases are one-time charges and are non-recurring. Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, generate, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
- Use the Service to create deepfake or misleading content intended to deceive others.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the original content you upload to the Service. By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. All generated output is owned by you, subject to the rights of any third-party content used as input.
The Service itself — including its design, code, logos, and documentation — is the intellectual property of Splainly and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Splainly and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
