Merchant of Record
All payments for Splainly are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means your purchase is made from Lemon Squeezy, and Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and this Refund Policy apply to your transaction.
Right to Cancel & 14-Day Refund Window
You may request a refund for any reason within 14 days of your initial purchase. If you exercise this right within the 14-day period, you will receive a full refund of the charges you have paid.
Exception: If during that 14-day period you began downloading, streaming, using, or otherwise benefiting from the Service — and during your purchase you agreed for the Service to be made available before the end of the 14-day period — you may not be entitled to a refund.
Consumers residing in the EU/EEA and UK have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
Subscription Cancellation & Renewal Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that.
Refund requests for subscription renewals beyond the initial 14-day window are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
Credit / Top-Up Refunds
Purchased credits that have not been used may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have been partially or fully consumed are non-refundable.
Free Tier
The free tier is provided at no cost and is not eligible for refunds or compensation of any kind.
Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before disputing a charge or raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. This often results in faster resolution than a chargeback process. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in account suspension while we investigate.
